In addition to insulation, ventilation can prevent roof jeopardizing issues like metal rust on nailheads, wood rot, sagging of the roof deck, and mold. These two plus the outer protection of your roof (i.e. ice and water shield and shingles), help to ensure your roof is protecting your home. This roofing system is key to keeping leaks at bay, your electricity bill low, and your roof well maintained.<\/p>\n
