We believe in giving back here at Bone Dry Roofing. We’re thankful for the opportunity to help you protect your home and your family. We’re also very thankful for the sacrifices our armed services men and women, and their families, make to keep us safe here at home.
This week, when we learned of WWII Veteran, Floyd “Schultzy” Schultz’s home was in dire need of roof repairs, we jumped at the chance to partner with Boone County Habitat for Humanity to thank him for his service. We loaded up our red trucks and red trailers and headed over. Instead of just repairing his roof, we decided to give him a whole new roof, as it was the right thing to do.
After a windy, but beautiful day of hard work, our guys did a complete roof tear off, replaced many pieces of rotted decking, and installed a beautiful, new Owens Corning TrueDefinition Duration roof. See more pictures on our Facebook page, and while you’re there, give our page a like.
Thank you to the crew and to our hometown veteran! If you’d like to read more about Schultzy and his life, visit the Current in Zionsville . They did a great story on him, complete with great vintage pictures. Stay tuned, as WISH-TV will have more on Schultzy in the coming weeks.
