Our Story
Most people would have torn it down, but a tiny garage in Speedway, Indiana inspired Gene Judd to start Bone Dry Roofing and launch a family of companies that have become the beacon of the roofing industry.
It all started as a true family affair with Gene swinging hammers next to his parents. And when it came time to consider taking a bulldozer back in 1989 and flattening that old garage, Gene climbed a ladder and gave it the best roof in the neighborhood. He learned firsthand, and by hand, the secrets of how to put on “one dog-gone good roof.” Then he figured out how to do the same with gutters, downspouts, insulation, and masonry. Everything one might need to stay dry, warm and content. A rather noble goal for what started out as just a little ‘ol roof.
What We Do
More than 30 years later, building up one customer at a time, Bone Dry has emerged as one of the largest residential roofing companies in the Midwest and beyond. Knowing that everything starts with respect for the homeowner and their property, every member of the Bone Dry family is trained and certified in their task at hand. The traits Gene learned in that garage over three decades ago still guide us today.

We began with a garage office in 1989, offering roofing repairs and replacement to customers in the greater Indianapolis area, and now our team spans seven states and is doing much more than just roofing repairs and replacements and gutters. You may know us by any of our various names or logos, but you still get the same great service and get one doggone good roof.

Since 1989, Bone Dry Roofing has served customers across the Midwest. Beginning in Indiana, with our headquarters in Indianapolis, we expanded to include offices in Ohio, Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee. Seeing the opportunity to provide the Bone Dry Experience to more customers, we expanded our reach to include Fort Collins, CO and Sarasota and Punta Gorda, FL.
